About the role

As General Manager your mission is to oversee the full value chain of our Operate product line within the Safety & Digital business line, as well as set the vision, drive execution, and shape the future of digital mining solutions on a global scale.

In this role, you will lead six core global teams — Product Management, R&D, Hardware Solutions, Customer Support & Implementation, Sales Support, and Enabling Platforms — and be responsible for strategy, innovation, growth, and delivery across our three digital product areas:

• Asset Tracking: Optimize the movement and utilization of assets
• Asset Health & Monitoring: Maximize uptime and drive maintenance solutions
• Production Management: Boost operational efficiency and throughput

This role is a key position in our Digital Solutions Division with a direct reporting line to the Vice President Safety & Digital Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive commercial and financial performance, including revenue growth, margin, and customer retention with full P&L responsibility for the product line.
• Provide strategic direction and cross-functional leadership across the product lines six global teams.
• Define and execute the Operate Solutions strategy and roadmap, aligned with business goals and market needs.
• Ensure innovative, robust, and scalable R&D delivery across all solution areas.
• Oversee product design and development, from hardware engineering to software platforms.
• Lead and grow high-performing teams with a focus on diversity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Own end-to-end customer value delivery, from implementation and support to long-term success.
• Foster the Epiroc culture across all teams, acting as a visible role model for our values and Code of Conduct.
• Promote SHEQ best practices and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to bring world-class solutions to market.

Experience and requirements

• Proven strategic level leadership experience in digital technology or mining software solutions.
• Proven track record in delivering successful innovation and driving P&L performance.
• Strong background in leading cross-functional teams, including product, R&D, engineering, support, and commercial functions.
• Technical depth in digital systems and software/hardware integration is highly valued.
• Excellent communication, strategy, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Data-driven, customer-first thinker who can balance innovation with execution.
• Deep understanding of the mining tech landscape is a strong advantage.

Location and travel

International travel expected on a monthly basis.
