Job summary

ALTEN in Sweden seeks a Senior Fullstack Tester to strengthen automation and test leadership for automotive sector projects. You will enhance testing processes, automate manual tests, and ensure high software quality and reliability across digital services.

You will collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test cases, execute automated suites, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, applying Cypress, Robot Framework, Insomnia/Postman, and Selenium across UI and backend tests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a tester or test leader.
• Automation and technical background.
• Automating test cases for UI, API, and backend.
• API testing with Insomnia or Postman; microservices knowledge.
• Hands-on with API types: Websocket, REST, GraphQL.
• Experience with test automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, UI Automation.
• Experience in agile principles and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluency in English (Swedish a plus).

• Develop and maintain regression test suites to enhance testing efficiency.

ALTEN is seeking a Senior Fullstack Tester with strong automation and test leadership skills towards one of our major clients in the automotive sector. In this role, you will enhance testing processes, automate manual tests, and ensure the highest standards of software quality and reliability.

As a Senior Fullstack Tester, you will play a key role in improving our automated testing processes and ensuring the reliability of our digital services. You will work closely with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to identify test cases, execute automated test suites, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in automation tools like Cypress and Robot Framework, along with your proficiency in programming, will be essential in driving quality improvements.

You will also contribute to exploratory testing, integration testing, and monitoring of existing services, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance and user experience.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Act as a tester with a test leader mentality, analyzing and breaking down requirements into test cases

• Automate manual tests, including exploratory and integration testing

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Tester with:

• 5+ years of experience as a tester or test leader
• Strong automation and technical background
• Expertise in automating test cases for UI, API, and backend as part of an evolving regression suite
• Proficiency in API testing (Insomnia/Postman) and knowledge of microservices
• Hands-on experience with different API types (Websocket, REST, GraphQL)
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, UI Automation)
• Experience in agile principles and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines
• Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus)
