Ready to drive innovation as a Senior Fullstack Tester?

ALTEN is seeking a Senior Fullstack Tester with strong automation and test leadership skills for one of our major clients in the automotive sector. In this role, you will enhance testing processes, automate manual tests, and ensure the highest standards of software quality and reliability.

As a Senior Fullstack Tester, you will play a key role in improving our automated testing processes and ensuring the reliability of our digital services. You will work closely with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to identify test cases, execute automated test suites, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Docker. Your expertise in Playwright for frontend automation and Insomnia for API testing will be essential in driving quality improvements.

You will leverage Playwright Codegen to automate end-to-end test flows, enhancing test efficiency and coverage. Additionally, you will design, implement, and execute automated test scripts using Insomnia to validate API functionality, data integrity, response time, and reliability.

You will also contribute to exploratory testing, integration testing, and monitoring of existing services, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance and user experience.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Manage test data across multiple environments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Contribute to the team’s ongoing work with test automation for UI (Playwright) and backend (Insomnia).
• Upskill team members in automation testing (API and backend).

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Tester with:

• 5+ years of experience as a tester or test leader.
• Strong automation and technical background.
• Expertise in automating test cases for UI (Playwright), API (Insomnia), and backend as part of an evolving regression suite.
• Proficiency in API testing (Insomnia) and knowledge of microservices.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker for CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (Playwright, Insomnia).
• Experience with Cypress or Selenium is considered a plus, but not a requirement.
• Experience in agile principles and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus).
• Experience in testing and automating applications, with a focus on end-to-end test flows and API validation.
