Job summary

Nordplay Group is seeking a Senior Front End Developer to join a fast-moving iGaming-adjacent team in Sweden. You will build and maintain high‑quality web and mobile applications, focusing on fast, scalable experiences across devices.

You’ll collaborate with Product and backend teams to balance user needs with technical excellence, and you’ll incorporate AI to improve development, testing and documentation.

• Senior Front End Developer with proven track record delivering scalable web apps.

Responsibilities

As part of a small, experienced team, you’ll take a hands‑on role in building and improving the web applications behind our products and brands, working closely with the team to keep them fast, scalable and easy to maintain. The role comes with real ownership and plenty of room to contribute ideas and make an impact.

We move fast, making sure pages load quickly and the experience stays smooth. We build for stability, so our applications hold up under load, with proper error handling, automated testing and monitoring in place. We keep things simple, so our products are easy to navigate and use, and our code is easy for the team to work with. AI is part of how we get there, our developers use it throughout the development process, sharing what works so the whole team can learn and improve.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and maintain our web and mobile applications using modern technologies such as React, React Native, Next.js and TypeScript, writing clean, scalable code that gives our players a consistent experience across platforms and devices.
• Create reusable components and modular solutions that support efficient development across our products and brands.
• Optimize frontend performance and reliability through image and asset optimization, code splitting, lazy loading and caching with GraphQL and Cloudflare, following up results with tools such as Lighthouse.
• Deploy and manage our web applications on platforms such as Vercel, keeping our CI/CD pipelines in tools such as GitHub running smoothly so releases stay quick and predictable.
• Take ownership of your work end to end, from requirements and implementation through to code reviews, testing, release and troubleshooting when things aren't straightforward.
• Work closely with Product and our backend developers to balance user needs and technical quality, bringing ideas and challenging approaches along the way.
• Use AI in your daily work, from exploring solutions and writing code to reviews, testing and documentation.

Who are you?

• Solid experience working in a Senior Front End Developer position, with a track record of delivering scalable and maintainable web applications, preferably within iGaming or a similar industry.
• Strong skills in modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js, and in TypeScript.
• Experienced with data fetching and caching using GraphQL, and with cache and CDN solutions such as Cloudflare.
• Comfortable optimizing site speed with tools such as Lighthouse, and with deployment and CI/CD in platforms such as Vercel and GitHub.
• You use AI as a natural part of development, with your own view on which tools do the job best.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑moving environment where priorities can change.
• You enjoy working within a Swedish speaking environment.
