Job Overview

We're seeking a driven Senior JavaScript Engineer who is passionate about crafting immersive gaming experiences with an architectural mindset. As a developer, you thrive on finding the best solutions—always with both a short- and long-term perspective in mind. You understand when to build something that meets today’s needs, and when to invest in scalable, forward-thinking solutions that improve efficiency over time. You feel comfortable navigating technical discussions and can clearly articulate and defend your ideas with sound reasoning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new game features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimise game and framework for speed, maintainability and quality
• Analysing and solving development and production problems
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Typescript and Javascript
• Experience in frontend development tools such as Webpack, jEST, etc
• Experience in writing performant, high quality and reusable code
• Experience and interest in code quality practices
• Experience in working with large and complex projects

Bonus Skills

• Canvas and WebGL experience
• C#
• Hands-on experience in game development
• Knowledge in building applications both for mobile and desktop browsers
• Understanding of the entire build and release chain, from code to final product
• Experience in automation techniques and tools
• Experience with versioning tools, such as Bitbucket
• University degree in Computer Science or similar
