Job summary

LeoVegas Group is seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer to join our multinational frontend team, building and sustaining the LeoVegas.com frontend. You will collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers across initiatives from responsible gaming to payments and the lobby layout.

You will drive frontend development, ensure high-quality JavaScript applications, and contribute to new markets and brand expansions in a fast-paced, agile environment. English is the working language.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Javascript.
• Good knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience with React and Typescript (Next.js).
• Working proficiency with Node.js and Microservices.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced self-driven Senior JavaScript Engineer to join in on our mission to deliver the greatest igaming experience to our customers. As a part of our multinational frontend team, you would be an important cog in the machinery, creating new features for and maintaining the full product of LeoVegas.com.

In close collaboration with product managers, designers and our backend peers, we get to work with a broad variety of initiatives: everything from responsible gaming and payments to the casino lobby layout and new market entries.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Develop and maintain high-quality JavaScript applications
• Ensure a smooth and engaging user experience
• You will be responsible for driving the development of most of the frontend features of Leovegas.com
• Improve and maintain the applications with a product focus
• Contribute to launching new brands and brand expansions into new territories

Essential Skills

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Proven experience with Javascript
• Good knowledge of GraphQl
• Working experience with React and Typescript (Next.js)
• Working proficiency with Node.js and Microservices

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with OpenAPI
• Experience with BigQuery
• Experience leveraging AI-powered developer tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for adopting AI to enhance engineering practices and software delivery.
