Job summary

TFS HealthScience is seeking a Freelance Clinical Database Programming Process Lead to join the CDS Group Management team. The role is 1.0 FTE, home-based in the UK, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain or office-based in Sweden.

You will lead the DBP capability across validation, testing, change control and documentation, while supporting audits, training, and cross-BU collaboration to ensure delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years database programming experience in a CRO/pharma/clinical research environment.
• Strong knowledge of clinical database build, validation, edit checks, data transfer programming, database lock, and EDC setup processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead capability assessment and improvement roadmap for DBP processes.
• Support audits, inspections, and validation activities across DBP.
• Provide technical leadership and escalation support for DBP issues.
• Develop competency frameworks, onboarding pathways, and training materials for DBP staff.
• Assist in cost/proposal input and client discussions regarding DBP capabilities.
