Job summary

GKN Aerospace seeks a Financial Analyst for its global FP&A team in Engines. You will develop financial plans, evaluate performance, and support decision making with strong analysis and reporting capabilities.

The role requires collaboration across finance, accounting, and management, plus advanced Excel modelling and experience with TM1 Cognos or OneStream. Fluent English is essential for daily interactions within a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience with business consolidation / BI tools.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Understanding of finance, budgeting, control and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating overall planning and reporting processes including contributing to analysis ensuring timely and correct management support.
• Providing insight, analysis and support in interpreting and acting on financial data (including but not limited to Flash, BR7, Forecast, Budget and strat reviews).
• Responsible for the weekly Business Line financial trading/SRO reporting including process excellence.
• Developing and maintaining and securing Financial TM1 Cognos, OneStream and Excel-models to ensure accurate financial and managerial information.
• Driving change/participating in Projects as required.
• Financial governance and support to internal and external audits as required.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our global FP&A team in Business Line Engines. The FP&A function is responsible for developing financial plans, supporting decision making through financial evaluation and accounting assessments, reviewing financial results, managing financial risk and ensuring financial control within Engines. Key to this is to enable professional management reporting and analysis of Engines performance through Financial and SIOP systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinating overall planning and reporting processes including contributing to analysis ensuring timely and correct management support.
• Providing insight, analysis and support in interpreting and acting on financial data (including but not limited to Flash, Business Reviews (BR7), Forecast, Budget and strat reviews).
