Job description

We are looking for a seasoned Financial Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to our Product and Development (P&D) organization. The role is hybrid – 2 to 3 days per week in our Östermalm, Stockholm office.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of budget creation, forecasting, and project reporting for P&D initiatives and monitor project progress using key performance indices such as ROI and Cost Performance Index (CPI).
• Evaluate product profitability and provide detailed financial support, including standard cost calculations, resource planning, and time‑tracking for projects.
• Collaborate with product management to develop and assess product business cases, informing investment decisions.
• Manage cost tracking and forecasts for projects, monitoring deviations and supporting accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Equivalent of +6 years of business controlling experience, ideally within R&D or product development.
• Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis skills and business understanding, with the ability to present clear insights to senior management.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and a collaborative, global mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial analysis tools such as Power BI or QlikView is a great asset.
