Job summary

Openroll is building the AI workforce for HR and is looking for engineers to help shape its agentic platform. You’ll work across the full stack, building AI agents that reason, reason about tool use, and execute tasks across enterprise systems.

You’ll own features end to end, shipping to production and iterating with real customers. Join a small, ambitious team shaping how enterprises work with AI.

Qualifications

The Role

You’ll be joining our founding engineering team, with the opportunity to shape both the product and engineering culture from day one.

You’ll build across the full stack, from agents that reason and execute across complex enterprise systems to the infrastructure and interfaces that make AI reliable enough for real business operations.

These are hard problems without established playbooks. You’ll help define how enterprises actually work with AI.

What you'll do

Who we're looking for

• Ability over experience. We care more about what you can build than your years of experience
• Strong engineering fundamentals and a product mindset. You build things people actually use
• Experience building and shipping LLM-powered or agentic systems
• Comfortable owning the full stack, from backend and infrastructure to frontend
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, ideally with FastAPI, React, or Next.js
• You use AI coding tools as part of how you build, not just as an experiment
• Bonus: experience with enterprise integrations, security, or early-stage startups
