Qualifications

• Several years of experience in software or systems engineering.
• Experience designing, building, or evolving technical solutions used by others.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, CI/CD, automation, platform engineering, or distributed systems.
• Interest in how AI, data, and emerging technologies create practical value.
• Ability to break down complex problems and provide clear direction.
• Strong collaboration and willingness to learn from others.
• Bonus if you have cloud-native platforms, AI/ML in real-world products, or real-time/safety-critical environments.

Your role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll partner with product teams across Saab to solve complex technical challenges and accelerate innovation. You will build solutions, introduce new technologies and platforms, and help teams successfully adopt modern engineering practices.
