Job summary

Melt&Marble in Gothenburg, Sweden seeks a hands-on Formulation & Laboratory Technician to support personal care and food product development. You will perform routine lab work, prepare cosmetic prototypes, support stability testing and maintain an organized formulation lab.

The role suits someone who enjoys practical laboratory work, follows established procedures, and is curious about formulation science and biotechnology. Independent work and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment is required.
• Accurate weighing, sample preparation and laboratory documentation.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cosmetic formulations and prototypes according to established formulations and procedures.
• Support formulation experiments by preparing raw materials, samples and test batches.
• Assist in the preparation of application prototypes for internal evaluation and customer demos.
• Support food formulation experiments and stability testing where required.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure traceability of samples and results.
