Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Ensure fire detection and protection designs comply with applicable standards, regulations, and HVDC-specific requirements.
  • Develop and maintain requirement specifications, technical documentation, and design deliverables based on customer requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
  • Coordinate technical interfaces with multiple engineering disciplines throughout all project phases, from design and engineering through testing and commissioning.
  • Proactively identify potential technical challenges, risks, and project constraints, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support the onboarding, training, and coaching of new team members and provide technical guidance to customers when required.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and engineering teams across different functions and geographical locations, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Develop fire concepts for HVDC tenders, including clarifications, assumptions, and deviations for stakeholders.
  • Perform technical risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to ensure robust designs.
