  • Analyze improvement opportunities, follow up on outcomes, and identify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coach and train finance colleagues and stakeholders in accounting standards, best practices, and finance processes.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and improve how finance processes are performed across our Rock Tools division. Working at the intersection of operational finance, continuous improvement, and business performance, you play a key role in shaping how finance processes evolve across the organization.

About the job

You develop and standardize ways of working within the general accounting area while ensuring compliance with accounting principles, policies, and service level agreements. You balance operational responsibilities with continuous improvement initiatives and play a key role in enhancing finance processes, systems, and collaboration across the organization.

Job responsibilities
  • Develop and improve finance processes, ways of working, and controls to support harmonization, automation, and compliance.
  • Drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance organization.
  • Perform advanced accounting activities, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Participate in financial system testing, including designing and executing test cases that support process development.
  • Analyze improvement opportunities, follow up on outcomes, and identify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coach and train finance colleagues and stakeholders in accounting standards, best practices, and finance processes.
Location and flexibility

The position is based in Sandviken and follows a hybrid working model with flexibility to combine office and remote work.

Your profile
  • You bring a strong background in accounting, financial controlling, and financial reporting combined with an interest in process development and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working across functions, you enjoy creating structure, improving ways of working, and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Your background includes Experience driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and organizational change.
  • Experience working with financial systems, testing activities, and process development.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish.
  • Success in this position comes from taking initiative, identifying opportunities, and driving activities forward independently.
  • You maintain a broad perspective, understand how processes connect across the business, and combine analytical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset.
