Flower, based in Södermalm, seeks a Financial Controller to lead accounting and reporting for several entities within the group, collaborating with experienced colleagues across Finance. You’ll gain exposure to IFRS, group reporting and finance projects as you grow your role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Around 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally from a Big Four firm or another accounting environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• An interest in developing knowledge of group reporting and IFRS.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing for several legal entities within the group.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and collaborate with the Swedish Tax Agency and other external stakeholders.
• Support group reporting and gain exposure to consolidated financial statements.
• Work with accounting under IFRS and K3/local GAAP across multiple legal entities.
• Support accounting related to acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
• Help improve finance processes, internal controls and our ERP system.
• Support the external audit process and collaborate with external stakeholders.
• Participate in finance projects that help shape and improve how we work.
