Job summary

Centra in Sweden is seeking a lead finance-and-data professional to drive business analysis, forecasting, and reporting across the organization. You will own KPI reporting for SaaS, manage data flows between core systems, and apply AI to improve finance workflows.

You will lead the monthly close, consolidation, and audit coordination while expanding multi-entity, multi-currency reporting. Strong SQL, BI skills, and experience with Bright Analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years as a Business Controller, Financial Controller, or in a data-focused finance role.
• SaaS fluency: subscription models, recurring revenue and gross margin drivers.
• Solid accounting foundations: revenue recognition, accruals, and close processes.
• Technical instincts: able to query large datasets with SQL and BI tools; identify trends without a data team.
• International scope: multi-currency, multi-entity reporting.
• Hands-on AI experimentation in finance processes; describe a workflow you automated.

Responsibilities

• Business analysis & partnering (60%): own pricing tiers, SaaS KPIs (ARR, churn, LTV, CAC); analyze cloud and API costs and gross margin; own reporting and dashboards and make them self-serve.
• Data quality & systems (25%): manage flow between Plock, banking, and accounting; ensure HubSpot connection; apply AI to forecasting and variance analysis; automate recurring tasks.
• Close, consolidation & audit (15-20%): manage monthly close, accruals, cut-off, reconciliation review; oversee consolidation in Bright Analytics; coordinate with Poland; support annual audit.

Bright Analytics consolidates our accounting systems in Sweden and the UK, with Poland next, and lands fresh data daily. Plock runs billing straight into those systems, with HubSpot connecting soon. Now we're adding the analytical layer on top and that's this role. You'd be our lead finance-and-data hire, with a real mandate over tools and standards.

What You'll Do.

• Business analysis & partnering (60%): The analytical partner across the company. Pricing tiers and SaaS KPIs with Sales and Marketing - ARR, churn, LTV, CAC. Cloud and API costs and gross margin with Engineering. You own the reporting and dashboard layer, and you make it self-serve.
• Data quality & systems (25%): Own the flow between Plock, our banking, and our accounting systems - and make the HubSpot connection earn its keep. Apply AI to real finance workflows: forecasting, variance analysis, modelling. If a recurring task can be automated, we want it automated.
• Close, consolidation & audit (15-20%): Own the monthly close - accruals, cut-off, reconciliation review, the reporting pack. Day-to-day bookkeeping is outsourced; the judgement and the numbers are yours. Own consolidation in Bright Analytics, bring Poland onto it, and lead our side of the annual audit.

What We're Looking For.

• SaaS fluency. Subscription models, recurring revenue, and what actually drives gross margin.
• Solid accounting foundations. You can own a close and defend your revenue recognition to an auditor. Deferred revenue and contract liabilities are familiar territory.
• A technical controller's instincts. You query large datasets yourself - SQL, spreadsheets, BI tooling - and find the trend without waiting on a data team.
• International scope. Multi-currency, multi-entity reporting.
• Hands-on AI experimentation in finance processes. Tell us about a workflow you automated
