Job Description Summary

The Field Services Technician will execute assigned field work by preparing and delivering job plans and technical documentation that define the scope of outage activities in line with engineering and process instructions. Responsibility includes translating work orders into clear job plans and technical instructions, ensuring field activities are planned, documented and executed safely and effectively. The role serves as the link between engineering and on‑site delivery.

Your Impact

• Independently diagnose faults in wind turbine generator systems and components and implement effective repairs to restore equipment performance and reliability.
• Execute both planned and unplanned maintenance activities on wind turbine generators and associated systems, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
• Complete all required administrative tasks accurately and on time, including debriefing work orders and service requests, preparing technical reports, and maintaining job status, time, and expense documentation.
• Request advanced technical support through appropriate case management channels and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
• Order materials and manage parts requirements efficiently to support timely maintenance and minimise downtime.
• Exercise sound judgment in controlling costs and managing company funds responsibly while delivering maintenance activities.
• Maintain a strong safety‑first mindset, ensuring all work complies with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, and coordinate external service providers when required.

• Is highly organised, computer‑literate, and flexible, willing to travel, work irregular or on‑call hours, and adapt to changing site and operational demands.
