Job summary

GE Vernova in Markbygden, Sweden is seeking an exceptional Field Services Technician – On Site Services to join our Field Services team. You will translate work orders into clear job plans and technical instructions, ensuring outages are planned and executed safely and to specification.

The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical or mechanical experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic wind-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Strong English language skills.
• Willingness to travel and work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose faults in wind turbine generators and implement repairs to restore performance.
• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance on wind turbine generators and related systems.
• Complete debriefs, prepare technical reports, and maintain job status, time and expenses.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
• Order materials and manage parts to minimise downtime.
• Maintain safety and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
