ULMA Packaging AB in Sweden is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission and service ULMA packaging machines at customer sites, ensuring they operate correctly. You will perform emergency and preventive maintenance, train customers on operation, monitor service activities, and order spare parts as needed.

Willingness to travel mainly within Sweden is required. Technical qualifications include mechatronics, mechanics, electrical engineering or electronics, with at least two years

• Carry out the installation of ULMA packaging machines (assembly and commissioning) in accordance with technical requirements and ensure they operate correctly at the customer’s premises.
• Carry out emergency and preventive maintenance on machines installed at customers’ premises.
• Train customers in the operation of the machines.
• Monitor service and maintenance activities and report on their status to the person in charge.
• Order spare parts for servicing, repairs and maintenance from the spare parts warehouse.
• Be attentive to customers’ needs and expectations, and suggest ways to improve the service.

Here at Adecco, we are looking for a Field Service Technician– Stockholm for ULMA Packaging AB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ULMA Packaging, S.Coop. In Sweden, ULMA Packaging’s office is located in Lomma, in the Skåne region. They are responsible for the sale, installation and maintenance of the full range of ULMA machinery, and operate a spare parts warehouse in Lomma.

Job responsibilities:

• Carry out the installation of ULMA packaging machines (assembly and commissioning) in accordance with technical requirements and ensure they operate correctly at the customer’s premises.
• Carry out emergency and preventive maintenance on machines installed at customers’ premises.
• Train customers in the operation of the machines.
• Monitor service and maintenance activities and report on their status to the person in charge.
• Order spare parts for servicing, repairs and maintenance from the spare parts warehouse.
• Be attentive to customers’ needs and expectations, and suggest ways to improve the service.
• Technical qualifications: Mechatronics / Mechanics / Electrical Engineering / Electronics or similar qualifications.
• Previous experience: Minimum 2 years.
• Willingness to travel, mainly within Sweden.
