Job summary

Desoutter is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support our Nordic customers, with a primary base in the Södertälje area and travel across the Nordic region. You will install, service and calibrate tooling, assist with projects, and provide on-site technical training to customers.

Essentially, you will diagnose faults, maintain safety standards, configure process control software, and work with internal teams to resolve technical challenges while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Practical mechanical and/or electrical engineering aptitude with fault-diagnosis ability.
• Comfortable using computers and technical software; willingness to learn new systems.
• Experience with industrial tooling, automation or manufacturing equipment; training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload; driving licence and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support at customer sites across the Nordic.
• Install, service, and repair assembly tooling while ensuring safety and documenting activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration tasks.
• Install and configure process control software and related tooling software.
• Support projects and customer rework, deliver training and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and sales to resolve application challenges.
