Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Ludvika, Sweden invites a proactive SCM professional to lead material availability, quality and cost across the portfolio. You will streamline daily operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive sourcing strategies in line with regional goals.

You will build and manage supplier relationships, conduct evaluations, and negotiate major agreements to support safe, cost-efficient energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Define and implement local sourcing strategies aligned with regional goals.
• Develop and maintain the supply base focusing on quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and drive improvement projects as needed.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with category teams and quality specialists.
• Establish and update agreements with major suppliers including pricing and terms to meet directives.

Components is a key business unit within Hitachi Energy, based in Ludvika, Sweden. We develop, sell and produce Bushings and Tap‑Changers, both vital for all Power Transformers, and are part of delivering a safe way of transferring electricity while keeping losses at a minimum.

How you'll make an impact
