Job summary

Lyten seeks a Facility & Utility Maintenance Manager to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all facility infrastructure and utility systems within the battery manufacturing plant. You will lead preventive maintenance, coordinate with production, and manage contractors to safeguard uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in facility and utility maintenance in an industrial setting.
• Experience managing teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance of facility infrastructure and utility systems to ensure continuous operation and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for all utility assets.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and support operational efficiency.
• Manage external contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor and optimise energy usage, water consumption, and waste management in line with sustainability goals.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 50001).
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.
• Support capital projects related to facility upgrades and utility expansions.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for recurring issues.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute plant shutdowns, including scheduling, resource allocation, contractor coordination, and post‑shutdown reviews to ensure safe and efficient execution.
