Job summary

Lyten is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive equipment commissioning, ramp-up, and full-scale production in a battery cell facility. The role focuses on safe startup, process optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

The successful candidate will lead root-cause analysis, define process standards, and mentor staff while working on-site to ensure high yield and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in production, equipment, or engineering-related roles.
• Proven track record of leading manufacturing process improvements and production optimization.

Responsibilities

• Participate in HAZOP and ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
• Lead process equipment commissioning and ramp-up to full-scale manufacturing.
• Define and maintain manufacturing process standards and operator training programs.
• Develop DOE studies and test process improvements on-site and with suppliers.
• Deliver lineage of documentation including WI, PFMEAs, commissioning checklists, and A3s.
• Regularly monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions for yield and availability.
