Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced Business Controller proficient in digital tools to join our team in Göteborg, SE. As an Experienced Business Controller belonging to Group Digital & IT and to the Business Control team, you will be an important stakeholder in the strategic, tactical and operational discussions and decisions. You will be a key player in driving the financial performance of your area of responsibility.

You will be instrumental in the finance transformation and therefore it is essential to be fluent in using digital tools e.g. Artificial Intelligence and modern dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to the Volvo Group stakeholders, providing insights and support on delivery and cost topics
• Lead and contribute to the annual business plan and estimate processes
• Deliver monthly analysis and comment on delivery variances, including bridges versus estimate, previous months and years
• Identify and drive improvement ideas, and enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Lead and support cross functional initiatives and secure quality in key business cases

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Business Controller in the IT industry or similar
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work with multiple initiatives in parallel
• Experience with planning and business intelligence applications, such as Hyperion Essbase, Power BI, or Tableau
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT, and with automation tools such as Power Automate
• Advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint is a must
• Self-motivated, curious, and adaptable to change.
• Flexible and open to change
• Fluency in English
