Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a large-scale data centre project. You will oversee Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical & Electrical Supervisors and Engineers, ensuring the project programme is met and the team remains highly motivated.

You will drive planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, safety, and quality across all disciplines, delivering on time and within scope in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in construction, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Senior leadership experience delivering large-scale projects (€50M+), from design to completion.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness with ability to manage budgets and costs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to balance detail and the big picture.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall planning, execution, and delivery of the project.
• Develop and implement project strategies with cross‑team collaboration.
• Manage budgets, labour resources, costs, and commissioning procedures.
• Ensure best practices for reporting, meetings, and documentation are embedded.
• Maintain engagement with clients, design teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Safeguard client satisfaction by meeting cost, scope, and programme requirements.
• Champion health and safety standards on-site.
• Monitor and uphold quality targets and standards.
