Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee full-scale data centre deliveries across Europe. Reporting to the Project Director, the role emphasizes leadership, cost control, and effective stakeholder coordination.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while partnering with design and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; capable of leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Commercially astute with a strong understanding of project financial management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost, schedule, and budget end-to-end.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Track milestones to prevent delays and ensure timely delivery.
• Review proposals, pricing, and scopes of work.
• Lead client meetings and project coordination sessions.
• Monitor cost drivers with data-driven insights.
• Support design decisions impacting cost during changes.
• Verify equipment availability and schedule alignment.
• Review invoices and payment applications.
• Coordinate handover with warranties and deliverables.
