Oatly AB in Malmö is seeking an ESG Data Specialist to join the Sustainability Reporting & Analytics team. The role focuses on keeping ESG data accurate, consistent, and well documented, and on running internal CSRD controls to make disclosures ready for external assurance.

We are looking for an ESG Data Specialist to join our Sustainability Reporting & Analytics team in Malmö. This role will be responsible for keeping our ESG data accurate, consistent and well documented, and for running the internal controls over the data we report under CSRD so that our disclosures are evidenced and ready for external assurance. You will also turn that data into clear reports and dashboards the business can use every day.
Keep ESG data accurate and consistent across the organisation: collect, clean, validate and model it, and maintain the data definitions, documentation and quality checks behind it.
Run and document the internal controls over the data reported under CSRD, so that our disclosures are evidenced and ready for external assurance.
Support the ESG Reporting Lead through the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles, gathering and consolidating data from business units and systems on time.
Analyse ESG data to spot trends, gaps and patterns worth a closer look
Build and maintain the management reports and dashboards that make ESG data easy for stakeholders across the business to use.
Contribute to climate-related forecasting, scenario analysis and simulations.
Help improve the IT tools and platforms behind ESG data collection and reporting, automating manual steps where you can.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in practical experience, ideally within data analytics, finance, environmental science, statistics or a related field.
Three to seven years of hands‑on experience with sustainability, ESG or comparable quantitative data in a business environment.
Strong technical data skills: you clean, validate, model and visualise large datasets with ease, and you know your way around the analytics tools and reporting systems behind them.
Working knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and what audit‑ready data demands, ideally including internal controls in a CSRD or financial reporting context.
A talent for turning complex data into clear insights and dashboards that non‑technical stakeholders can act on, and the precision to get the numbers right when they end up in external disclosures.
Fluent English and the collaborative instincts to work across functions, geographies and business units.
