Job summary

SEB Sweden is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a 12–16 person team within Tech Trading FX/MM, driving the technical agenda and ensuring delivery excellence in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will coach engineers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and champion cloud-native, automation and AI, while nurturing a culture of experimentation and continuous learning across the department.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with direct reports in software/engineering.
• Strong hands-on software development background and cloud/AI interest.
• Interest in financial markets; FX knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical agenda, roadmap and debt with Tech Lead and Product Owner.
• Coach engineers to improve technical excellence and team performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align solutions with client needs.
• Promote modern technologies, cloud-native solutions, automation and AI.
