Job summary

AkzoNobel in Malmö area is seeking a Projects Manager - Energy to lead the energy agenda across production areas, buildings and utilities. You will identify opportunities, drive improvement initiatives and ensure energy-saving projects are implemented and followed up.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, HSE and Procurement, while engaging external contractors. The role combines technical expertise with strong project leadership in a modern industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial energy management and/or energy efficiency projects.
• Project management experience within industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of industrial utilities, energy systems and energy monitoring.
• Experience working with HVAC/BMS and related optimization activities.
• Ability to develop technical and financial business cases.
• Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the Malmö Site Energy Roadmap.
• Manage energy efficiency projects from concept to implementation.
• Identify and prioritize energy and cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor energy performance, KPIs and metering systems.
• Develop business cases, project scopes and implementation plans.
• Coordinate energy-related activities across the site.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, HSE and Procurement.
• Support external contractors and facility management partners.
• Follow up, verify and report realized savings and project results.
