Job summary

XLNT Search AB is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to build the software foundation for high-performance automotive computing platforms. The role involves working with QNX OS, virtualization, and integration for SoC/HPC-based systems, on-site in Gothenburg.

You will bring up boards, configure OS and hypervisors, and collaborate across international teams to deliver robust, secure platform solutions.

Qualifications

• You hold a completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• You bring several years of embedded software experience for SoC- or HPC-based systems.
• You have hands-on experience with QNX OS and hypervisor technologies or strong RTOS/Linux platform environments.
• You are familiar with system bring-up, boot chains, virtualization concepts, and platform integration.
• You are willing to travel occasionally and enjoy working in international teams.
• You communicate fluently in English; Swedish and/or German are a plus.

Responsibilities

• System Bring-Up: support SoC and HPC bring-up, implement boot chains, and ensure stable startup from firmware to OS.
• Virtualization & QNX Expertise: configure and integrate QNX OS and QNX Hypervisor features for mixed-criticality systems.
• Integration & Optimization: collaborate with system and platform teams to debug, optimize, and deliver end-to-end SoC platform solutions.
