Responsibilities

In this role you will work alongside a team of skilled developers dedicated to improving and maintaining Aptus—a successful access control, booking, and entry phone system. Aptus is one of the most widely installed brands in the multi‑residential market, serving a diverse customer portfolio across Scandinavia.

• Design and implement innovative solutions for new product development projects.
• Enhance existing products by identifying and addressing challenges with creative problem‑solving.
• Develop and apply customizations and solutions to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards.
• Continuously refine our products, processes, and methodologies for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• A technical education within Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience in Linux system administration is ideal.
• Proven industry experience in firmware development for embedded systems, with expertise in C, embedded Linux and Git.
• Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery and integration processes, demonstrating initiative and adaptability to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, coupled with a structured and methodical approach to work and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
