Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is seeking an Electronic Component Engineer to support embedded electronics development and component lifecycle management in Sweden. You will assist with component selection, evaluation, qualification and database maintenance, ensuring reliability and availability across the product lifecycle.

You will coordinate with global teams in Germany and China, lead second-source investigations, and drive continuous improvements in component management processes

Qualificações

• Experience with electronics component selection, evaluation and qualification.
• Knowledge of PLM systems, component libraries and databases.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and EMS partners.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain the approved electronic component database and libraries.
• Support electronics designers with component selection, evaluation and qualification.
• Lead second-source investigations and coordinate component verification activities.
• Address lifecycle challenges including obsolescence and Last Time Buy (LTB).
• Plan and follow up on verification activities performed by electronics engineers.
• Collaborate with EMS partners on component-related matters.
• Ensure component information is accurate and up to date throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work with local and international teams across Germany and China.
• Identify component risks and propose suitable alternatives and mitigations.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in component management and engineering processes.
