ALTEN Sverige AB in Västerås is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and validate advanced hardware solutions. You will work on analog and digital circuits, PCB layouts, simulations, and testing to ensure high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics or related field.
• Experience in hardware development for electronic products.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Experience in PCB design, schematic drawing, and PCB design processes.
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.
• Knowledge of EMC, certification processes, and functional safety is a plus.
• English fluency; Swedish knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulations, verification, and validation of hardware.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As an Electronics Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Designing and developing analog and digital electronic solutions.
• Creating circuit diagrams and defining PCB layout requirements.
• Performing simulations, verification, and validation of hardware.
• Conducting laboratory tests and troubleshooting on prototypes and products.
• Ensuring EMC-compliant design and adherence to relevant standards.
• Collaborating with suppliers, production, and development teams for product improvements.

Technologies & Tools:

• Hardware Design: Analog/digital circuits, PCB layout, PCBA, power electronics, MOSFETs, FPGA, Zynq/UltraScale, FPGA redesign/EOL replacement.
• Simulation & Testing: EMC analysis, climate/vibration testing, functional safety.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who is analytical and solution-oriented, with a structured and quality-conscious approach. You are independent yet a strong team player, driven by curiosity and technical challenges. Strong communication skills and experience working in international environments are essential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or equivalent.
• Experience in hardware development for electronic products.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Experience in PCB design, schematic drawing, and PCB design processes.
• Experience in verification, testing, and troubleshooting of electronics.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and analysis tools.
• Experience with simulation tools for electronics is a plus.
• Knowledge of EMC, product requirements, and certification processes is a plus.
• Experience with industrial products, power systems, automation, or embedded systems is a plus.
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
