ALTEN is looking for an Electronics Engineer in Västerås, Sweden to design, develop, and validate analog and digital electronics, PCB layouts, and hardware tests for diverse client projects.

You will conduct simulations, create circuit diagrams, verify hardware, and ensure EMC compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams across industries. English is essential, Swedish knowledge is a plus, and opportunities for training are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or equivalent.
• Experience in hardware development for electronic products.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Experience in PCB design, schematic drawing, and PCB design processes.
• Experience in verification, testing, and troubleshooting of electronics.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and analysis tools.
• Experience with simulation tools for electronics is a plus.
• Knowledge of EMC, product requirements, and certification processes is a plus.
• Experience with industrial products, power systems, automation, or embedded systems is a plus.
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
