Job summary

3M in Värnamo, Sweden, is seeking an Electronic Hardware Development Engineer to join our on-site team. You will lead electronic design, development, testing, and verification of new products, collaborating with top engineers to deliver robust hardware solutions.

You will work on analog and digital circuitry, CAD tooling, circuit simulation, and validation, with opportunities to advance in embedded systems and wireless technology areas used in protective communication devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in theory, design and debugging of analog and digital circuitry.
• Knowledge of schematic and layout CAD tools, circuit simulation, and design validation.
• Experience working as a member of a project team.
• Master's degree or beyond in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Embedded system experience.
• Experience with wireless technologies (e.g., Bluetooth/BLE/WiFi/NFMI/ISM).
• Experience with electro-acoustic design and validation.
• Experience with intrinsic safety design techniques.

Your Skills And Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Experience in the theory, design and debugging of analog and digital circuitry
• Knowledge of schematic and layout CAD tools, circuit simulation, and design validation.
• Experience working as a member of a project team

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree or beyond in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Embedded system experience
• Experience with wireless technologies such as: Bluetooth/BLE/WiFi/NFMI/ISM band radios
• Experience with electro-acoustic design and validation
