Job summary

AVL in Sweden seeks Verification & Validation Engineers to work on electrified mobility projects in the Gothenburg region. You will verify and validate advanced electro-mobility systems, develop test plans, and execute comprehensive testing in lab and vehicle environments.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and occasional European travel, with a focus on delivering safe, high-performing mobility solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 3+ years in the automotive industry, with electro-mobility experience.
• Experience in test case definition, execution, and reporting.
• Knowledge of requirements management tools and data acquisition/analysis tools.
• Experience with CAN-based communication and diagnostic tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); valid European driving license (Class B).

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate electro-mobility systems across projects.
• Develop test plans, strategies, and verification concepts.
• Execute functional, system, and integration tests in lab and test cell environments.
• Analyze test data, report results to stakeholders, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and support customer teams as needed.
• Travel within Europe occasionally as part of assignments.
