Job summary

ALTEN Sweden is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Örebro. You will design and analyze electrical systems (HV/LV) for substations, automation, and building systems, collaborating across disciplines to deliver robust engineering solutions.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of hands-on experience, with Swedish language skills considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical system design, testing, or troubleshooting.
• Swedish language is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical systems (High Voltage/Low Voltage) for substations, industrial automation, or building electrical systems.
• Perform schematic design, component selection, and system integration for electrical and mechanical projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, IEEE, ISO) and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Use simulation software (MATLAB, Teamcenter) for testing and validation.
• Support project management activities, including documentation, reporting, and client presentations.
