Job summary

Cepheid in Solna is seeking an EHS Engineer - Chemical Lead to combine on-site safety leadership with chemical management across manufacturing. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions and drive improvements with production, labs, maintenance and project teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in occupational health and safety, engineering, or environmental science.
• Several years of hands-on EHS experience in manufacturing with chemical management.
• Knowledge of Swedish work environment rules, SAM, REACH and CLP.
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive OHS improvements in manufacturing focusing on ergonomics and machine safety.
• Lead site chemicals and flammable substances management with risk assessments.
• Develop work instructions and deliver safety trainings.
• Provide EHS support to employees and projects, ensuring safety in changes.
• Develop and follow up improvement plans and support emergency preparedness.
