Job description

Are you passionate about hedge funds, multi-asset investing, and risk management? Rettig is looking for a highly driven Investment Director to join its team in Stockholm. This is a unique opportunity to work at the core of a sophisticated family-owned investment company, contributing to a portfolio that spans external hedge funds and in-house strategies with a focus on generating strong risk-adjusted returns.

About the Role

As an Investment Director at Rettig, you’ll take the lead in managing and developing the firm’s absolute return strategies. You will work hands-on with external hedge fund mandates and in-house quantitative investments, while also supporting portfolio-wide risk management and strategic hedging initiatives.

Your role will include:

  • Designing and implementing multi-asset and hedging strategies
  • Conducting investment and operational due diligence on hedge funds
  • Managing external manager relationships and ongoing performance reviews
  • Producing in-depth risk and portfolio analysis to inform decision-making
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across the investment and finance teams

Who You Are

  • 5–10 years of experience, ideally with a trading or hedge fund background from an asset manager, bank, or investment fund
  • Strong academic background, preferably in finance, economics, or quantitative disciplines
  • Deep understanding of financial instruments and risk frameworks
  • Highly analytical, proactive, and business-minded with excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus
