Job Title: Equipment Engineer – Manufacturing Engineering Support

Location: Helsingborg, Sweden (Onsite)

Duration: 6-12+ months

Max Rate: 60-80 EUR/hour (in SEK)

Language: English

Experience Required: 6–8 years (Minimum 4 years in Equipment Commissioning & Qualification)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Engineer to support large-scale lifecycle management initiatives within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on equipment commissioning, decommissioning, calibration, and technical documentation, with strong cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute equipment engineering tasks for lifecycle initiatives.
  • Lead equipment commissioning, qualification, line clearance, and decommissioning.
  • Collaborate with validation teams and technicians for equipment decommissioning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate instrument calibration records.
  • Determine and execute appropriate commissioning/decommissioning actions.
  • Write technical documentation including URS, FRS, FAT, SAT, and qualification reports.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of activities.
  • Update equipment layouts and technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, utility).
  • Ensure equipment status is correctly reflected in internal systems.
  • Apply Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years in equipment installation and qualification.
  • Experience with solid dose, liquid dose, and blister equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, cGMP, and technical documentation.
  • Familiar with ANSI, ASME standards, and machine safety guidelines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and documentation tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Additional Information:

  • Work environment is fully onsite in Helsingborg.
  • Experience in highly regulated, pharmaceutical manufacturing settings is essential.
  • English proficiency is required; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
