At Lanterna, we collaborate with IBDP & MYP schools worldwide that are experiencing teacher supply gaps. As part of our team, you will deliver engaging, inspiring, and technically excellent lessons to young learners across the globe.

This is an incredible opportunity to broaden your horizons by working with schools from Okinawa to Oslo, London to Lisbon, in an online capacity.

We provide comprehensive technical onboarding to prepare you for teaching in a digital environment, along with tools to enhance your online teaching experience.

As an online IB Substitute Teacher, you will deliver synchronous lessons to schools worldwide, ranging from one week to a full school year, supporting schools at various stages of their IB program implementation.

This role is ideal for teachers with a flexible schedule, looking to supplement their in-school teaching in the evenings or weekends. We also welcome recently retired teachers who can benefit from our expertise as online facilitators.

Pay varies depending on the school contract, typically around £40/hr.
