We explore the next generation of personal, sustainable and safe Volvo cars. Volvo Cars are now in the making of a completely new platform to support fully electric, self-driving and connected cars. The heart of the car will be a Core Computer to control the vast amount of innovative functionality and systems in the car. This new design will be present in all future Volvo cars. This will be an important corner stone for the company to be competitive in the fast-paced transformation of the previous traditional car industry going all electric.
What You'll Do
You will take on a key role within our integration team for the Core Computer. The work assigned to you will include designing, implementing, and improving our CI pipelines as well as supporting the daily integration work to ensure that we are able to produce key deliverables on time and with quality. Your main tool will be Python, with the CI system being Zuul, orchestrated using Ansible.
Our department at large, is working with many different areas from car feature development, SW architectural design, SW build tools & CI pipelines and system analyses. The teams are working in an agile way, with great independence, ownership and trust. We have a warm and relaxed atmosphere where you will be an important contributor to the team. You will build the next generation of Volvo cars.
