DESCRIPTION

We're on a mission to build the best developer experience for cloud communications. Our Developer Experience team ensures that APIs, SDKs, documentation, and self-serve tools work seamlessly, making it easy for developers and AI platforms to discover, integrate, and scale their applications.

This hybrid role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and reports to the Senior Director, Product.

As Product Manager for Developer Experience, you will own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and outcomes to achieve developer & AI-powered platforms and applications:

  • Discover and engage with Sinch with ease.
  • Integrate with our APIs smoothly.
  • Provide a consistent, friction-free experience across multiple API endpoints.
  • Offer support, documentation, and troubleshooting tools to help build, debug, and scale faster.

You'll collaborate with engineering, design, documentation, marketing, and product teams to ensure a high-quality developer experience across all touchpoints. Your responsibilities include shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap for developer experience, ensuring our APIs and SDKs are easy to use for both developers and AI platforms. You will partner with engineering teams managing SDKs for Sinch's Build API, aligning roadmaps with shared goals, and lead efforts to improve API usability, documentation, and developer interfaces. Additionally, you will drive AI-powered developer support tools, champion developer engagement through content and communities, and incorporate insights from research and industry trends to inform product decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

We believe you are curious about what makes great SDKs and APIs, from design to guidelines, and passionate about platform products that enable developer success. You communicate clearly and engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in development and/or product management, particularly with API platforms or third-party integrations.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, software development, and developer workflows.
  • Ability to translate developer needs into actionable product decisions, especially for third-party integrations.
  • Interest in LLMs and agentic AI, and how this evolving space influences API design and consumption.
  • Confidence in influencing without authority and driving progress in cross-functional teams.
  • Active participation in developer communities and awareness of industry trends.
