Role summary:

You will support Nordic Procurement by optimizing the procurement of products and services, liaising with local departments to understand their current and future needs. You will also implement local sourcing strategies, optimize the local supplier base, and manage local supplier contracts.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with local/cluster teams to understand their needs and project strategies. Engage in key projects and work with other teams to resolve customer support issues.
  • Analyze industry, supply market, and internal spend data for assigned categories to assist in defining sourcing strategies.
  • Gather and analyze affiliate spending data and product details in assigned categories. Align supply chain strategies with business priorities to improve efficiency.
  • Research, identify, and evaluate suppliers. Develop and analyze RFx processes and negotiations at the local/cluster level.
  • Manage relationships with local suppliers, vendors, or subcontractors to ensure service standards.
  • Understand legal templates and ensure contracts are correctly set up following Law Department guidelines. Review and process contracts thoroughly.
  • Maintain and update price lists and agreements for accurate purchasing documentation.
  • Build and evaluate supplier relationships through regular assessments. Coordinate with colleagues to monitor supplier performance and set goals.
  • Understand the sourcing process and its interaction with other functions. Comply with Global Procurement Policies and Regional Sourcing Practices.
  • Ensure sourcing plans and RFx initiatives are properly documented in the regional/global system. Aim to meet key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate efficiently with Shared Service Centers (SSC) and remote teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor the progress of tasks assigned to SSC according to annual plans, if applicable.

Who you are

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • A diploma from a recognized Procurement Institute is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sourcing, preferably in Logistics, Marketing, or Sales, with a focus on digital.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Experience within PMI or in Key Account, Trade, Sales, or Consumer Engagement roles is also relevant.

Please note that relocation support is not available for this position.
