Job summary

Scania, within TRATON Group, seeks a Diagnostics Developer to shape the future of diagnostic and troubleshooting solutions for electrified vehicle platforms. You will develop methods, gather workshop insights, and ensure serviceability is embedded in development processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance Scania Workshop Suite and digital service tools, contributing to workshop efficiency and customer uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field.
• At least 2+ years in system development, vehicle systems or diagnostics.
• Experience with programming or software-enabled development environments.
• Strong English skills; Swedish is an advantage.
• Valid Category B driver's license.
• Experience with electrified/high-voltage vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and validate diagnostic and troubleshooting methods for electrified vehicle systems.
• Represent the voice of workshop technicians across project phases to ensure serviceability.
• Collaborate with system owners and software teams to improve diagnostic support and digital tools.
• Contribute to cloud-based troubleshooting solutions to boost workshop efficiency.
