Job summary

Scania Nederland B.V. is seeking an E-Mobility Diagnostics Developer to shape diagnostics and troubleshooting solutions for TRATON's electrified vehicles.

You will work with system and function owners to develop, implement, and continuously improve diagnostic methods, ensuring serviceability and efficient fault diagnosis. You will contribute to Scania Workshop Suite, collaborating with software teams, and act as the voice of workshop technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in system development, vehicle systems, diagnostics, or a similar engineering discipline.
• Experience with programming and/or software-supported development environments.
• Strong English communication skills; Swedish knowledge is an advantage.
• Valid Category B driver's license.
• Experience with electrified vehicles, high-voltage systems, or e-mobility is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and validating diagnostic and troubleshooting methods for electrified vehicle systems, testing on rigs and vehicles.
• Acting as the voice of workshop technicians throughout development projects, providing requirements across all project phases for serviceability and fault diagnosis.
• Collaborating with system owners, function owners, and internal software teams to improve diagnostic support and digital service tools based on customer and project needs.
• Contributing to the cloud-based troubleshooting solutions to enhance workshop efficiency and customer uptime.
