As a Business Development Representative, you´ll play a key role in driving growth within our core verticals and beyond. Working closely with our sales and marketing team, you´ll identify and develop new business opportunities. Your ability to understand customer challenges and proactively create value will help shape the client´s expansion.

Overall responsibility for the role

Client provides a digital billing and payments platform, revolutionizing a forgotten part of the payments industry: the invoice. We believe it always pays off to treat people well. That´s why our invoice and payments platform is designed to eliminate inconvenience and enhance customer relations. To ensure continuous growth, we are now looking for a Dutch-speaking Business Development Representative to join our Revenue Ops team in Stockholm.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Partner with the commercial team to drive outbound prospecting strategies and secure high-quality meetings.
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach plans, ensuring meaningful engagement with potential clients within the designated territory.
  • Conduct research to identify and qualify leads, leveraging insights to tailor your approach.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to nurture pipeline opportunities, analyze business cases, and expand into new industries.
  • Represent at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities alongside other colleagues within the Commercial Team.
  • Support engagement campaigns, participation pre and after events, webinar follow-ups, and keep a close dialogue with relevant stakeholders.
  • Use our CRM (Salesforce) and prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Lusha to execute targeted sales strategies.

What will help you succeed:
  • Previous experience in business development, consultative sales, or outbound prospecting is required, along with a proven track record in booking meetings and generating pipeline.
  • A strong understanding of the sales process and CRM tools is essential (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and a solid grasp of the recurring payments landscape is an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with Enterprise clients is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDIC methodology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and similar prospecting tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English is required; fluency in Swedish is a plus.
Current team

Two other BDRs focus on the German market and are based in Stockholm. One of them is moving to a new role internally, so the team will be hiring a replacement. A Salesforce Manager is also part of the team.

Collaboration

Works closely with an Enterprise Account Executive located in the Netherlands.

Travel

Regular trips within the region—roughly one trip per month on average, largely tied to events.
