Through strong national and international collaboration, we unite experimental and theoretical research to create efficient, low-emission solutions, driving the transition towards carbon-neutrality in the energy and industry sectors.
You will join FlexCSAR, an EU-project aiming to develop a flexible, adsorption-based technology for capturing CO₂ from flue gases. Unlike conventional liquid-solvent methods or fixed bed adsorption, FlexCSAR targets a gas-solids fluidized bed system. By being able to flexibly run on low-grade heat in combination with vacuum and heat pumps, FlexCSAR enables optimized operation based on the availability and prices of electricity and heat.
