Job summary

SSAB is seeking a Director of Health, Safety & Security to lead the HSS function for the Luleå Mini Mill project in Sweden. You will define strategy, operating model and governance, embedding health, safety and security into leadership decisions from the outset.

You will build a high-performing team, drive a proactive safety culture, oversee incident investigations, audits and reporting to leadership and external stakeholders. This role reports to the Transformation Office leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field(s).
• Significant HSS leadership experience on large industrial/construction projects.
• Experience in industrial or construction environments with HSS focus.
• Understanding of contractor governance, assurance and multi-contractor environments.
• Fluency in English; Swedish or Nordic language a plus; knowledge of Swedish regulations desirable.
