Job summary

Qred is building the world’s best bank for small businesses, seeking a Cyber Security / SecOps Engineer to own security guardrails across our platform and automate controls in a fast-growing fintech environment. You’ll enable secure development, mentor teams, and shape security policies while aligning with regulatory expectations.

You will work in a hybrid setup based in Stockholm, with one remote day per week, contributing to proactive risk mitigation and rapid incident response in a scale-up

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in security engineering or DevSecOps, ideally in fintech or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services, IAM frameworks, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in incident management and automated security tooling.
• Excellent communication to influence roadmaps and align distributed teams.
• Experience with EDR/XDR and MDM frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement automated security guardrails within AWS to mitigate risk.
• Mentor product teams to embed security in early design and feature discovery.
• Define and manage company-wide security policies and translate compliance needs into engineering practices.
• Lead security incident response from detection to containment and resolution.
• Drive security awareness programs and measure improvements in security posture.
